Yoga for Bone Strength Workshops

In the workshop I will be introducing the 12 yoga poses that have and are being used in the study on Yoga vs. Osteoporosis conducted by Loren Fishman. I will also be covering safe range of motion for someone with bone loss, how bones are built, and how to read a dexa scan. You can learn more about Loren Fishman’s work at http://www.sciatica.org.
Come learn about the many benefits yoga has for bone loss and come practice safely.
I will be teaching workshops on Yoga for Bone Strength in Orange County. In the workshop I will cover safe range of motion for someone with bone loss, how bones are built, how to read a dexa scan and introducing the 12 yoga poses that have been used in the study on Yoga vs. Osteoporosis conducted by Loren Fishman.
I will also be teaching monthly classes focused on bone strength using dynamic tension, duration and alignment to have the most effective practice for bone strength. These are great for someone who is using yoga as a tool to help increase their bone strength.

Yoga for Bone Strength Refresher Class. This is a great way to check back in with your practice and poses ensuring you are getting your maximum benefit with your practice.
